An Apocalyptic Fairy Tale?

I have noticed a lack of good scary summer movies out at the theaters--even the really bad teen flicks have disappeared. But on the 13th of this month, the Happening will be coming out. If you haven’t heard, it is a “paranormal thriller in which a family must survive a global environmental crisis. The film will portray the earth's vegetation unleashing airborne neurotoxins that cause all those who breathe it to commit violent suicide.” These kinds of movies come out by the truckload, but now the earth is turning against us and making us kill ourselves? Not sure if I’m too excited about this one, but as long as it’s not Scary Movie 5, I think I might take it.

I remember having the all too familiar obsession with Sex and the City in high school. I lived and breathed the Sex and City girls and secretly wished I could be them. Although I tried to deny how excited I was for the movie, when I finally saw it, I couldn’t help but reminisce back to all the memories I had from the past shows and feel excited when drama after drama happened. For anyone who didn’t really watch the show, I don’t recommend seeing it, but if you ever felt slightly overly-excited about the drama on the show, you must see it.
